For years I’ve asked you to send in “Ask Brian” Questions to the email below, and I would answer them on the blog.
From now on, I’m asking you to post questions on our new advice forum. That is where I will be answering most questions from now on.
Why the change?
- Well, for one thing, it will benefit everyone. When I was answering questions over email, I gave out a lot of good advice that never made it to the blog. If you ask questions on the advice forum, not only will I answer you there, but other people will be able to see the questions and answers and learn along with you.
- For another thing, I’ve been getting dozens of questions a week. I haven’t been able to answer all of them. But if a question is posted on the advice forum, even if I don’t get to it, another reader might pipe in with their own input. You’re getting crowd-sourced advice… more than I alone can give.
- Finally, I’ll still take the best questions and make blog posts out of them, so if you post a question in the forum, that’s the quickest way to get me good ideas for posts.
