Have spent the last few days at the Career Directors International conference here in (actually) Sunny Seattle.
Yes, career professionals have their conferences too.
I’ve had a great time and gotten a lot of great insights from the assembled career and HR pros. The next half dozen or so posts will probably come from ideas generated here.
One real quick takeaway from the conference? If you’re a professional and you’re looking to engage in a job search any time in the near future, you need to be on LinkedIn, like, yesterday!

LinkedIn is awesome for networking and just a plain ole great site… (still looking for full-time work though LOL)
