I’m not saying I’m any sort of expert on the economy. I’m not saying that the recent surge in clients we’ve seen at ResumeWriters.com is any sort of leading indicator. I’m not even saying that I know what it means when even the Federal Reserve Chairman announces the economy is slowing.
What I do know is that a lot of people are getting nervous out there (I’ve heard it on this blog and at ResumeWriters).
So, now is as good a time as any to do a post series I was going to hold off on for a couple of months. For the next 5 days, starting later this afternoon, I’m going to be posting a 5-part series addressing the most basic career issue out there: “How To Save Your Job”. Even if everything is copacetic right now, it’s never too soon to start being aware and being proactive. It’s never too early to take steps to keep your job safe.
Check back to this blog every day this week for the following:
How To Save Your Job
- Monday- “The Weatherman Technique”
- Tuesday- “The Lifeboat Technique“
- Wednesday- “The Late Surge Technique“
- Thursday- “The Ninja Technique“
- Friday- “The Zen Technique“
